Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a IT Application Manager at our Newtown Square, PA location responsible for leading the US IT M&A Application Team to the successful integration of acquired companies into SAP.
Expectations and Tasks:
Serve as a trusted partner and mentor and an integral part to the IT M&A CoE team to ensure the successful execution of process and system integration projects and programs to integrate business processes and applications of acquired companies into SAP’s IT application landscape as well as the support of system retirement initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to the regional Lines of Business as an ambassador for the global SAP M&A Strategy. Develop, lead and mentor a team of M&A IT experts (functional SMEs). Ensure successful overall organization design & employee engagement within IT M&A CoE. Oversee an IT M&A Application integration program from beginning to end (along the dimension of business processes and applications). Provide financial transparency and compliance for IT M&A projects and programs (budgeting, forecast, actuals). Develop existing relationships within SAP M&A community (Corporate Development, PMI teams and within IT Services). Make sure running projects and initiatives are managed appropriately, with tasks delegated and reviewed where necessary.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field and 7 years of experience. Company will also accept Master’s and 5 years of experience.
Experience must involve 5 years of professional experience with M&A post-merger integration related projects and programs; SAP digital transformation challenges and opportunities; SAP Application Portfolio; Cloud Technologies and Market Trends; analysis of complex business processes and solutions; and SAP IT applications integration support processes (e.g. release management); Customer orientation with focus on outcome; Presentation skills and ability to create compelling storylines for executive consumption; successfully leading IT programs of all sizes; and orchestrating teams across different organizational boundaries.
