Administrative Assistant – Testing Centre (For Qataris Only) – College of the North Atlantic , Qatar

Job Description
The College of the North Atlantic – Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Administrative Assistant in the Testing Centre. Reporting to the Supervisor the Administrative Assistant must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Department in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will act as the first point of contact on behalf of the Testing Centre, dealing with students, staff, parents, and external contact by phone, face to face and through email. This individual will perform duties of a sensitive and confidential nature and handle all enquiries and registration duties for all tests.
Candidates should have good administrative experience or knowledge working within a busy office environment. Responsibilities include assigning test dates and seat numbers for applicants according with The Testing Centre’s rules and regulations, maintain a test tracking spreadsheet and manage Testing Centre application forms. Managing inbound and outbound calls, by answering and screening calls accordingly, managing office supplies, inventories and checking stock. Scheduling and coordinating meetings as required. Transcribing and preparing minutes as requested by the Manager.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing billing requests, reports, emails and memos, and will support the Department in collecting and analyzing data. Responsibilities will also include performing general clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing and mailing as requested by the Manager.

Diploma is required in Administration Management or related field is required
Experience:
Experience in Administrative Support is required
Language:
Fluency in written and spoken English language is required
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic language is required

Other Required Skills:
A professional and friendly nature with pro active attitude to work is required, good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively is essential, Analytical thinking and problem solving is required. Candidate should demonstrate explanatory communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in English and Arabic is required.
