To manage and oversee all activities related to MRI Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Radiology services.

Requirements
Master’s degree is preferred
Bachelor’s degree as Radiographer
MRI Technologist licensing from Qatar Ministry of Public Health
6-8 years of experience in an accredited hospital or clinical setting, at least 3 of which must have been in an imaging modality supervisory role
Experience applying all required healthcare safety standards
Excellent organization and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Arabic, with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and articulate ideas clearly and concisely
Proficiency in MS Office applications

Description
Direct and lead the MRI and Radiology functions both technically and operationally, including setting up functional procedures and work systems
Develop policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with applicable international and local standards and best practices; participate in their implementation and periodic review
Enforce adherence to standard procedures in order to ensure validity of imaging data and reliability of results
Participate in clinical audits including Health & Safety and Infection Control
Ensure and monitor adherence to imaging safety regulations
Manage Technologists within the service to ensure the continuity of service delivery
Coordinate inspections by the Ministry of the Environment and the Supreme Council of Health in order to keep equipment licensing current and ensure availability of the equipment
Train, supervise, and schedule MRI and radiology staff
Oversee data entry into the clinic information management system in order to ensure proper documentation of banked imaging data
Manage staff performance and orientation in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and objectives
Develop performance reports on MRI services performance in relation to established goals
Serve as the point of contact for radiology teams and outsourced radiology centers regarding imaging data backup
Ensure that staff are in full compliance with QBB and Qatar licensing, educational, training, and competency requirements
Develop and deliver training programs to new employees on equipment and procedures in the area of operations
Act as the Subject Matter Expert for MRI by providing advises and supports employees in developmental activities and contributes to the education of patients, staff and physicians
Ensure optimal use of resources to achieve cost-effective service delivery to the required standard
Ensure that MRI and radiology equipment is appropriately validated, managed and maintained; resolve any equipment failures or breakdowns; ensure that preventive maintenance and testing are conducted on schedule and that any remedial actions or repairs are completed in a timely manner
Ensure that timely orders are placed for radiology consumables, and oversee review of received orders to ensure material quality and the accuracy of order fulfillment
Manage quality control activities in order to maintain QBB-accredited standards; ensure that corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner in order to maintain operational readiness of equipment
Maintain statistical data on turnaround time, radiology waiting time and KPIs; analyze and identify trends, and make data-based recommendations for improvements
