Marketing Officer – Qatar Airways , Doha, Qatar

Your key accountabilities include:
Work closely with Marketing Manager, to maximize audience awareness and Doha Station’s income in QRS hub.
Coordination in the purchase of innovative and appropriate Point of Sale Material (POSM) and material to communicate QR brand efficiency.
Support the overall marketing objective of Doha Station both externally and internally. Assist and coordinate in the overall implementation of Doha Station’s marketing section.
Assist with the development and implementation of QRS local branding development objective.
On occasion, to take responsibility of executing certain campaign in conjunction with the Marketing Manager. Coordinate and assist with the execution of all sales and marketing awareness and sales driven campaign i.e. venue specific campaign and marketing and promotional event. Takes responsibility for specific marketing campaign and project within the department and assist with the implementation of the Department’s campaign and strategy.
Supply sufficient cost information to the Marketing Manager to enable effective budgetary control of specific areas of activity.
Provide progress report on campaign to ensure effective Departmental communication. Provide regular weekly report and report, where it is necessary to assist with the compilation of report for the Senior Management meeting and other QR Departments as required. Send out monthly Marketing Plan to update the sales team.
Coordinate promotional material i.e. creation, stock, timely delivery to the sales force. Ensure that all printed promotional material is distributed throughout QR.
Assist in carrying out business evaluation and report on feasibility and cost of campaign within the Marketing Plan or as they come along within the agreed deadline.

Qualifications
Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor’s level – Preferred Airline specialized courses in customer services, sales techniques and marketing
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
Experience in the commercial sector preferably in sales or marketing
Proficient level of English, excellent organizational skills and knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power Point essential
