The College of the North Atlantic – Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Marketing Programs Specialist in the Marketing and Public Relations Department. Reporting to the Marketing and Events Section Head, must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Marketing and Public Relations Department in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will contribute to the delivery of effective marketing programs for CNA-Q in line with established tasks, goals and timelines while adhering to the strategic objectives and vision of CNA-Q.
Candidates should have an outstanding record of industry experience in marketing or related field, and possess the qualifications necessary to be successful in the role of Marketing Programs Specialist. The successful candidate is responsible to provide support in the implementation of the colleges marketing plan in order to enhance CNA-Q’s brand positioning, prepare and deliver mass marketing campaigns and facilitate the design, sourcing and selection of CNA-Q branded merchandise.
Responsibilities also include
liaising with all media, legal and external materials providers and Departments to provide support for new and exiting initiatives. Also to liaise with organizers, vendors and participants to ensure the efficient delivery of events.
The Marketing Programs Specialist will monitor external news reports and escalate complex issues to the Section Head. The candidate will provide support in the media training of Departments and will assist in the research and writing of speaking notes as required.
Candidates will arrange and coordinate media initiative, organize promotional photoshoots and take part in photography duties as required.
The Marketing Programs Specialist will maintain good working relationships with key contacts throughout the college and contribute to the evaluation and assessment of current marketing programs to measure effectiveness, identify gaps and provide ideas for improvements.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Marketing, or related field
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic language
Fluency in written and spoken English language
Other Required Skills:
Enthusiastic and ambitious team player with a strong marketing awareness and good creativity skills. Proactive can-do attitude to work and good time management is essential. The ability to think analytically and solve problems is required. Commitment to positive relationship building and effective working relationships across all levels of the organisations is required. Knowledge of Marketing, Branding and Positioning is required. Knowledge of Communications and PR is desirable. A Commitment to ongoing training and continuous professional development is required. Candidates should demonstrate explanatory communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English language is required, Arabic language is an asset.
