Responsible to ensure QR’s presence on Metasearch as an industry leader, during the most crucial moment of customer decision making while comparison shopping, across Meta core listings and advertising units.Pivotal in managing the metasearch channel objectives of E-Commerce by targeting relevant audience across metasearch engines. Accountable to develop and drive metasearch strategy and marketing plan across all global and local metasearch engines, to effectively deliver relevant traffic to the web platforms and achieve revenue KPI maintaining the cost of sale target. Envisions, develops and drives the customer centricity strategy from metasearch engines. Is a key service provider to internal stakeholders and trusted liaison to external vendors, managing the overall display metasearch agenda to lead the entire organization’s transformation to customer-centricity.
Devise and drive the annual Metasearch strategy and roadmap to drive incremental revenue.
Identify additional growth opportunities across Metasearch core listings and advertising units.
Strengthen existing Metasearch partnerships, and explore new partners to ensure relevant QR presence across all Metas and markets.
Identify and drive technical and data optimization opportunities to ensure seamless integration with Metasearch platforms to optimize conversion rates.
Identify and negotiate current and new commercial engagements to optimize the overall COS of the channel. Adopt a data first strategy to drive the metasearch portfolio to drive incremental revenue by optimizing efforts with an analytical approach.
Drives the ideal technological infrastructure internal/off the shelf platforms to ensure seamless data exchange with suppliers.
Establishes direct partnerships with all prominent players in the market to minimize middlemen dependency and costs.
Ensure prompt positioning of the airline across metasearch engines by continually reviewing data integration, price benchmarking vs OAL and QR agents.
Set channel objectives and optimize performance with the team to ensure channel drives incremental revenue and cost efficiency.
Continually review QR competitiveness in the meta landscape and optimize towards better positioning.
Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure business continuity.
Account management with partners to strengthen existing relationships and explore and convert new partnerships with global/regional/market level relevant metasearch engines.
Manage RFI, RFP, and contracting procedures to establish optimal partnerships with suppliers.
Creates monthly/quarterly and annual KPI reporting to track performance against monthly targets.
Qualifications and Experiences:
In order to be able to perform in this role you must have a Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience.
-Hands-on experience managing Metsearch or OTA portfolio with an airline, or Meta/OTA directly.
– Historically handled multi-million dollar Metasearch/ OTA regional/global portfolios directly responsible for revenue targets.
