Process Engineer – Brunel , Qatar

About this role
Station Design
Review, assess and document key information regarding the operability of the current Foundation Project important to the operation of the SCSt;
Steward AKSO through specific Steady State design issues;
Develop further and mature the PFDs / Block Diagrams / Safeguarding Diagrams & Cause and Effects;
Develop further and mature the Process and Instrument Datasheets;
Develop further and mature the Process & Instrumentation Diagrams;
Identify system “hotspots”, and manage them through facilitation across functional technical meetings to resolve system interface issues;
Ensure technical integrity and consistency across disciplines and alignment with existing facilities;
Identify & endorse integrated design documents i.e. all technical reports prepared by AKSO;
Prepare and participate in HAZOP;
Assess and address the corresponding HAZOP actions;
Input to the overall Phase 4 scope;
Develop design basis for contractor to use as input to Phase 4 and the SCS design;
Review and support development of outline start-up and operating procedures;
Test integration of station with BFF production.
Operations & Flow Assurance support
Review flow assurance philosophies associated with the subsea compression station;Ensure design of station has the functionality to achieve steady state and transient operation;
Design assurance & ETC support;
Assist in reviewing comments and closing out actions associated with ‘through by’ assurance approach
Ensure necessary assurance reviews and peer assists occur, and participate as appropriate.
About you
More than 15 years offshore design experience combining both Process Engineering and Flow Assurance;
Subsea processing experience desirable;
Previous experience on a leadership role;
Previous experience managing contractors;
Previous experience with FA production systems dynamic modelling.
