The College of the North Atlantic – Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Scheduling Supervisor in the Admissions and Registration Department. Reporting to the Admissions and Registration Manager. The Scheduling Supervisor must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Admissions and Registration Department in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will coordinate the timely and efficient scheduling of courses and programs in accordance with college guidelines. To review the processes, update and maintain the computerized scheduling system for all program areas and to arrange the preparation of student course and examination schedules.
The candidate should have an outstanding record of experience in Admissions and Registration or related field, and possess the qualifications necessary to be successful in the role of Scheduling Supervisor.
The successful candidate will coordinate the timely and efficient scheduling of courses and programs in accordance with college guidelines, and coordinate the updating of databases with new, amended or deactivated courses and with the exam, Instructor and textbook schedule details.
The successful candidate will verify data entry of schedules in the scheduling software systems, troubleshoot and resolve scheduling issues before entries are updated in the scheduling database and notify the Admissions and Registration Manager of any discrepancies.
The candidate will manage queries and requests from database users, concerning data entry and maintain regular communication with CNAQ Information Technology staff and scheduling software providers.
The successful candidate will liaise with the Facilities team to ensure timetabling and room requirements are in alignment with the colleges Health and Safety Regulations and remain up-to-date on external and internal exam regulations, policies, and procedures.
The Scheduling Supervisor will oversee scheduling innovations to ensure the College scheduling software is current and user friendly, and ensure the computerized scheduling system is maintained and updated.

Qualifications
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’ Bachelor’s degree in a Business Administration is required
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of scheduling coordination experience
Language:
Fluency in written and spoken English language

Good leadership skills with a high standard of professional integrity. A desire to achieve organizational success and to lead by example is required. A proactive can-do attitude to work and good time management is essential. The ability to think analytically and solve problems and a good attention to detail is required. The candidate should have the ability to anticipate change and effectively manage quality and risk at all times. Effective resource management is desirable Commitment to positive relationship building and effective working relationships across all levels of the organisations is required. Knowledge of Recruitment, admissions and registrations processing. Knowledge of Service design and implementation is desirable. A Commitment to ongoing training and continuous professional development is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate explanatory communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English language is required.
