Requirements
Master’s degree in Medicine or Health related sciences; PhD strongly preferred
8-10 years of full-time educational outreach, teaching, and training experience; teaching certification is an advantage
More than 20 published articles in international scientific journals
Experience developing educational materials and curricula
Outstanding interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Outstanding writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
Proficiency in MS Office applications

Description
Keep abreast of local and international scientific developments in biobanking in order to ensure that QBB operations are aligned with international best practices, QBB goals, and local biomedical research needs
Develop rules and regulations governing scientific proposals and requests submitted to QBB
Establish the business plan for QBB Scientific, Education and Administration functions
Lead the Research Access Office to maintain efficient operational standards which support QBB various departments in multiple aspects including but not limited to budgeting, facility management, procurement, research projects agreements and accreditations
Lead the Communications and Participant Recruitment function which aims for raising the awareness of Qatar community on Qatar Biobank mission and recruit participants to contribute in achieving the set objectives
Represent QBB among the national and international research community and to government and other agencies by attending meetings, conferences and other events; speaking at events; staffing the QBB stand at events; and undertaking other relevant activities
Develop educational materials and review & approve content for educational outreach, including presentations, hand-outs, leaflets, pamphlets, posters, videos, Internet content, etc.; ensure their availability in Arabic, English and other languages, as appropriate to the target audience(s)
Develop and deliver training courses for a wide range of audiences, both professional and lay, in order to educate medical and research professionals and the general public about biobanking in general and QBB in particular
Develop and implement a publication strategy plan to increase QBB scientific visibility by encouraging scientists to use QBB resources and data to publish at high impact factor journals, and encourage QBB scientists to publish articles in related subjects too
Lead the relationships of QBB personnel at alllevels with partner organizations and other key organizations, includinggovernmental organizations
