In this role,
you will work closely with key stakeholders to develop strategies related to operational department procedures, manuals and processes within different areas of the Technical Division. You will be accountable for the strategic oversight and day-to-day evaluation and compliance within Technical Division for Facilities, GSE and Tooling. You will provide leadership, professional knowledge and experience to design the Program definitions, scopes and objectives.
Key accountabilities for the role includes:
Responsible for the optimization of QR Technical Facility and Operations by introducing new concepts to create a more productive environment. Act as continuous improvement subject matter expert in supporting the development of plans relating to Facilities and GSE, lean programs (5S) across Technical Division. Ensures the implementation, monitoring and management of continuous improvement initiatives and programs to minimize disruptions to operations in Facilities and GSE. Drives a more competitive aircraft maintenance function across all operational businesses. Introduces integration and processes and rethink the MRO model focusing on increased utilization of assets, personnel, buildings, equipment and material.
Works with the senior leadership level, to scope and define key performance improvement projects, which deliver enhanced business benefits. Continuously review and re-engineer the development and standardization of processes, procedures and KPIs where appropriate. These must be scalable and measurable, with well-defined KPIs, sustainable and audible in order to deliver on-going excellence. Manages budget and resources within project to deliver efficient timely and cost effective implementation. Critically examines the current working practices to improve reliability and increase utilization of operational processes to maximize operational productivity. Assesses the implementation of a phased approach strategy of prototyping across Heavy and Light. Drives integration of GSE and Tooling and alignment with Facilities production. Supports asset management decisions relating to acquisitions & asset replacement plans of Facilities, GSE and Tooling and disposal of equipment. Manages supplier relationships and ensures service level KPIs are met.

Champions a continuous improvement culture and provide improvement coaching and mentorship support in problem solving methods. Establishes the Department’s or Team’s objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives. Regularly evaluates the department or team objectives, plans, procedures and practices and makes appropriate changes if required.
As an essential requirement for this role, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent with minimum of 10 years job-related experience. You have Project Management qualifications and strong exposure to process improvement methodologies.
Having Aviation experience is beneficial. You have good knowledge of organizational policies, products and processes within your area of employment.
You are able to work in a highly pressurized working environment with high volume activities. You have previous experience in engaging with a diverse workforce and a proven record of accomplishment of developing action plans and measuring its success. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You have excellent analytical skills and proven ability to use Project Management methodologies. You are able to construct and write detailed Processes, Procedures and Business Models and produce clear documents for others to use.
You must have good managerial skills with the ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. You are able to work under pressure and within tight timeframes and deadlines.
