Assistant Operations Manager – GOP – Aramex , Saudi Arabia

Purpose of the Job:
Assist the operations manager over the day to day work along with the strategic plans

Job Responsibilities:
• Assist Operations Manager in supervising daily operations.
• Address operational issues and along with the corrective action plan.
• Supervise operations team to ensure a smooth operations workflow.
• Control operational cost, risk and audit activities.
• Assist in interviewing, recruiting, training, performance evaluation, promotion and termination activities.
• Determine staffing requirements, work assignment and schedules for new projects.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager for any operational issues and promotional activities.
• Evaluate current operational strategies and recommend improvements.
• Generate operational reports for management as needed.
• Be able to fulfill any other task (related to his scope of work & area) requested by his direct manager.
• Helping operations manager to Achieve company KPI fully.

Job Requirements (Experience and Education):
• Proven experience in Operations & Warehousing environment.
• Bachelor degree
• Experience in team management and process improvement.
• Excellent skills in MS Office.
• Leadership and organizational abilities
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving attitude
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• Able to travel upon request
• Able to manage team & operations remotely
