The Project :
Riyadh Metro Project (RMP), which is currently one of the world’s largest infrastructure projects being under construction in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Siemens as a part of the BACS consortium which is responsible for the design and build of Lines 1 and 2 of the Riyadh metro networks. These two lines will form part of the six-line metro system that will run for a total length of 176 kilometers across the city and includes 85 stations. BACS scope of work on Lines 1 and 2 encompasses detailed structural, architectural and transit system design together with construction, testing and commissioning works. Our scope also includes the procurement of all products and materials necessary to support project delivery. BACS are fully responsible for the design and integration of the transit systems and the civil infrastructure. Working from the Employers Requirements, the BACS consortium will manufacture, furnish, install, test and commission all components related to both the transit systems and the civil infrastructure.
Within a project, the CIS Installation Manager ensures that the FSCADA, PI and PA equipment are installed and acceptance-tested correctly from a technical point of view, on schedule and cost-effectively and that work on site is performed with due regard to contractual requirements, quality and EHS assurance. To achieve this, the CIS Installation Manager will lead a team of Installation Supervisors, will manage and liaise with the Subcontractors on site for the Installation and will align with the Engineer on processes, documentation and approvals.

Your Role
Delivery of the works to (within) budget and specification, time, cost and quality.
Delivery of the works to safety legislation, company standards and contractual standards
Planning of construction works to ensure optimal use of resources (personnel and equipment/materials/plant).
Production of reports and plans (daily, weekly, monthly, etc) in line with Siemens and contract requirements.
Review project documents, installation documents, daily site progress report and give constructive suggestion to on ground team
Holding regular project reviews with required stakeholders
BOQ Reconciliation for the installation consumption against the design
Sets up efficient procedures/processes for construction controlling and reporting that always provides an up-to-date overview of the project.
Identifying changes and then estimates effects of changes in requirements/products ordered with respect to: costs, project plan, and total order value.
Knowing the customer’s business and operations and considers them in any decisions.
Ensure customer satisfaction constantly by seeking out and responding to customer feedback
Coordination with customer and the contractor to achieve the final goal
Liaise with other Siemens business as required to deliver projects.

Your Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputable University
Vast experienced in dealing and leading installation teams
Extensive construction management experience in a similar market area with a working knowledge of CDM regulations
Experience of whole project lifecycle delivery based on a formal project management process and ideally membership of applicable professional organisations
Should also be trained to carry out Risk Assessments and be capable of holding relevant industry access / supervision permits
Line management experience coupled with extensive experience of MS Office and MS Excel is also important for being successful in this role
Capacity to work with a multi-cultural team
Leadership, initiative and decision minded
Team spirit approach and good communication skills
Fluent in speaking and writing in English language
