Job Description
Overview
Looking for a dynamic individual to perform as an entry level Administrator in the Contracts field/organization. This position is an excellent ground floor opportunity for individual to enter the government contracting field. In direct support of the Vice President of Contracts, will be responsible for tracking, managing, reviewing and analyzing contract data and preparing reports needed for corporate and programs as well as overseeing contract closeouts. Candidate will be responsible for initiating, tracking and reporting progress on closeouts for the entire corporation. Candidate will be responsible for supporting the contracts department by assisting in implementing controls, processes and procedures to include keeping databases populated and current. In addition, they will have the ability to develop as a Contracts Administrator. Additionally, may be required to perform other Contract Administration tasks. Must have exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, along with strong MS Office skills with a heavy emphasis on database management.

Responsibilities

Manages all the department databases and repositories to include Closeouts, NDA’s, TA’s, proposals, etc. to include input and maintenance.
Team lead with internal customers to oversee the contract closeout process. Analyze list of contracts eligible for closeouts, make prioritization recommendations, prepare corporate reporting of closeout status. Works individual contract closeout items to include development and /maintenance of closeout checklist, prepares and submits correspondence to customers as needed to facilitate closeouts.
Assists the Contracts Leadership team with presentations, collecting team data calls, audit requests and tracking of internal deliverables.
Provides inputs in various contract department databases and trackers. Reviews and monitors database content to maintain accuracy. Extracts data from databases, analyzes results and prepares summary reports for corporate and program reporting.
Assists with receivables collections associated with contract closeouts as needed.
Interacts daily with various internal departments, builds positive relationships with all operational teams by maintaining excellent internal and external customer service standards.
Attends training both for internal compliance requirements and specialized courses that provide enhanced job-related skills.
Manages multiple assignments simultaneously.
Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
Experience
This is an entry level position, 0-3 year’s work experience.
Skills
Must possess and demonstrate general business management acumen as well as sound verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment while balancing many tasks and priorities
. Expert level of proficiency with MS Office software; particularly Excel, PowerPoint & SharePoint.
Works in a remote or general office environment. The working environment may require overtime work. Working conditions may include occasionally performing the requirements under certain time and resources constraints.
