Manager, Treasury Dealing – Islamic Development Bank , Saudi Arabia

JOB PURPOSE:
This role is responsible for executing the processes for treasury dealing including transfers, placements, Sukuk, investment in/of funds, borrowings, repos, foreign exchange, hedging, as well as building relationship with treasury counterparts.

SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organizational Unit Responsibilities
Preparing the standing and ad-hoc reports of the Dealing function.
Introducing improvement initiatives in order to contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of Dealing function.
Technical Responsibilities
Clearing/approving treasury deals (transfers, placements, Sukuk, investment in/of funds, borrowings, repos, foreign exchange, hedging), as per the delegation of authority, and as directed by, or as suggested by Senior Management, and ALCO guidelines.
Communicating and negotiating with treasury partners for executing treasury deals in the most efficient and timely manner.
Contributing to building Treasury Assets Book.
Clearing requests to adjust limits assigned to treasury partners and instruments.
Collaborating with legal to ensure compliance with shariah and ITFC framework.
Co-operating with risk to maintain the operation under the accepted risk framework.
Proposing to add new treasury partners and investment instruments to the eligible list of instruments.
Preparing the reports on treasury deals, investment assets and portfolio to track returns and the associated costs.
Evaluating investment opportunities in order to make the most profitable returns for ITFC.
Managing relationships with treasury partners in order to find profitable short-term investment opportunities and implement short-term investment strategies.
Networking & Partnership
Participating in roadshows, conferences, workshops, seminars and market positioning activities of ITFC to promote ITFC and expand network of partnership.
Keep abreast with the latest changes, developments and opportunities in the local, regional and international banking and financial industry and markets with potential positive or negative impact on ITFC.

SECTION IV: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Bachelors Degree
Treasury-related Professional Certification is preferable (CTP, ACT, CFA, CMA, ACI Dealing/Operations)
Language Skills:
English is compulsory
Arabic or French is preferable
Years of Experience:
Minimum 4 years of experience
