Roles and responsibilities:
Monitor the KPIs for the Ground operations and support functions; including analyzing data, find the root cause of problems, setting corrective actions, and following up with the improvement plan, to ensure the station achieves the set targets for the KPIs.
Work with the ground operations Leaders to ensure the full utilization and maximum efficiency of last-mile couriers.
Maintain and improve the ground operations performance in terms of delivery, pick up, and all related aspects to comply with the company quality of service standards.
Lead data analysis and observations that aim to reveal the root cause of nonconformities and service failures.
Manage the teams’ related costs and expenses according to the set budget.
Monitor and Control serving offices performance and metrics during the peak to match the capacity plan, report any arising issues to be solved immediately.
Continuously strive for operational efficiency, lead the improvement projects, and report it directly to the management team.
Control Cost across the operations, and report any deviation from the original plan.
Process improvement and development.
Coordinate, communicate and work with other departments on business projects.
Identify and resolve repetitive service failures and human errors and facilitate continues improvement.

Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships with Operations managers and Leaders across the network.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and strong follow up.
Customer Service Orientated.
Bachelor Degree in a business-related subject or industrial engineering.
Work experience in operations/logistics/e-commerce/Cost management.
Ability to prepare, report and interpret large sets of data
Proficiency in Advanced Excel
Excellent communication, both verbal and written as one may be required to create a narrative outlining weekly findings and the variances to goals, and present these findings in a review forum.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Experience in a transportation operations role at a larger 3PL is a plus.
Experience of supply chain management and transportation concepts: Costing, planning, optimization, logistics, delivery performance, and Linehaul.
Pull and report data from numerous databases (using Excel or other data management systems).
