Serves as Program Support Leader providing Management and leadership to a multi-functional Program Support Team.
Performs as Program Integrator and principle civilian technical advisor to organizational leadership in across program functions.
Functions as organization authority and program manager for the Major Acquisition Program.
Represents the organization on critical Department of Defense Programs relating to the Defense Acquisition Board Critical process and other selected programs.

Pre-Employment Physical Required
CENTCOM Physical: Must meet the requirements specified within USCENTCOM MOD 15 in relation to occupying a position at an overseas/deployed location within the CENTCOM area.
Various vaccinations such as, but not limited to: Anthrax, Chickenpox, Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid, Influenza, M-M-R, Pneumococcal, Polio, Rabies, Tdap, and Typhoid may be required.
Foreign Affairs Counter Threat (FACT) Training is a mandatory Department of State 5 day training course for employees who travel to certain overseas locations. Once completed the certification is valid for 5 years.
Passport/Visa for selectee may be required.
Tour Length: 24 Months Unaccompanied

To qualify for a Program Manager (Integrator), your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Experience performing work that involves management and organizational principles and practices; analyzing and advising program performance and operations; and facilitating and mediating the resolution of complex program issues.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
If the position has a minimum education requirement and/or you are using education to qualify in lieu of specialized experience, you MUST provide transcripts (unofficial are acceptable at the time of application) to support your educational claims.
GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours that your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study. Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis. If you cannot obtain your graduate school’s definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.

Acquisition, Technology & Logistics (AT&L) NON-CAP: This position requires an Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Level II certification in the Production, Quality and Manufacturing Career Field within 24 months, unless a Position Requirements Waiver is approved to extend.
Selectees initially recruited from the US may receive certain foreign allowances IAW Dept of State Standardized Regs and may be subject to additional approval. Visit DSSR.
Pay Retention will be extended to eligible employees who apply through a formal recruitment program and is selected for a position at an OCONUS location. Visit DoDI 1400.25, Vol 536.

Medical and DoD Dependents Schools special education services may not be available in the immediate location of this position.
Medical care may be provided by host nation providers. The availability and level of care at host nation medical facilities will vary by location. Movement OCONUS may require you to initiate a change in your health benefits plan to ensure coverage. If an employee brings a family member to an OCONUS location who requires medical or dental care, then the employee will be responsible for obtaining and paying for such care. Access for civilian employees and their families to military medical and dental treatment facilities is on a space-available and reimbursable basis only.
For OCONUS positions, that country’s laws or international agreements may have a direct impact on the ability of an employee’s same sex domestic partner or spouse to accompany the employee and receive certain benefits.
