Independently manage the planning of all aspects of marketing and communications activities, fulfilling the aims of the IsDB’s marketing and communications strategy. Coach, mentor and develop the junior staff in the Division to enable them to contribute to the achievement of IsDB objectives.
Independently manage the forward planning of IsDB’s internal and external communications activity.
Develop and manage internal planning processes, e.g. a central planning grid, to ensure IsDB’s activity is aligned across teams and departments.
Taking into account the trends in the global media landscape and key external moments, identify opportunities for IsDB to leverage its external and internal communications activity.
Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Communications Manger to ensure seamless project management.
Develop recommendations for efficiency and optimisation, looking at areas which can be streamlined, for example internal processes.
Take an active role in the development of marketing and communications strategy, ensuring campaigns are amplified across multiple channels including print, digital and online.
Determine measurement processes and requirements at the onset of campaigns to evaluate campaign performance.
Build strong day-to-day relationships with campaign leads to ensure projects are run on time and within budget.
Identify and help recruit for additional resourcing needs as and when required, for example by bringing in freelancers.
Support the Communications Manager in fostering a high-performing team culture within the Communication Division.
Timely inform the wider Marcomms teams about upcoming events and key external moments which are relevant for IsDB.
Coach, mentor and develop the junior staff in the Division to raise their knowledge level and performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior communications and planning role for a global organization.
Extensive experience working on integrated communications campaigns, with demonstrated measurable success.
