You will be working as an Area Sales Manager and will be the part of Motion Business Area for Drive Products Division. In this role you will be reporting to the Regional Sales Manager and will be responsible for supporting the local sales units in reaching their business targets.
Participating in sales strategy discussions for Middle East region and agreed on short- and long-term goals.
Analyzing the customer needs and providing general market information based on the information received by the local sales organization. Ensuring efficient marketing actions (e.g. product launches) and communicate to local sales organization and customers. Communicating the value proposition of the products, systems, services and packages.
Supporting the local Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers. Providing technical support during the technical meetings, product presentations, negotiations and offer management. Defining the transfer price and selling price for the products, systems and service to the local sales organization focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for Global Product Group.
Taking ownership of specific customer cases to ensure efficient customer issue resolution. Analyzing lost proposals to increase future competitiveness.
Performing regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls. Requesting the sales forecast of assigned countries for production planning and providing regular reports of the area sales activities and training.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical engineering or similar studies.
Minimum 8 years in sales, experience with drives will be a definite advantage.
Having work experience in Middle East and Africa region is highly valued.
Knowhow on industrial applications and automation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
Additional language skills widely used in the region (e.g. Arabic) will be preferred.
