We are looking for an outstanding Assistant Principal to lead our Pastoral function. The successful applicant will ideally be in post in September 2019
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the schools Vision and Mission as well as all policies, academic standards and pastoral support in the Secondary School.
The post holder will deputise for the Head of School as required and assist in shaping & implementing the educational strategy for the school.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Contribute to the strategic leadership of the school as a member of the Executive Leadership Team
Autonomous leadership of Secondary Girls’ School to include:
Leadership of the pastoral systems and policies across the School
Leadership of students’ personal and social development and their protection, care, guidance and support (Standards 2 and 5 in the 2018 UAE Inspection Framework).

An effective and dynamic leader with a proven track record in sustained school improvement that can be demonstrated through hard data.
Rigorous in promoting excellence and developing commitment to high standards of pastoral care and opportunities for all.
Able to demonstrate success of leading and managing pupils and staff alike.
Trained in Child safeguarding policy and protocol and able to coach and mentor young minds.
Experienced in developing teacher’s skills and competencies through a sustained school improvement model such as coaching.
Able to demonstrate a commitment to inclusion.
Able to demonstrate genuine passion towards the wider community engagement of a school.
