Customer Life Cycle Analyst, Mashreq Bank, Dubai, UAE

Support digital squads within the retail bank by providing insights on traffic volume, leakages and optimal usage of various processes / sub processes

Identify incremental business value across segments by analyzing customer / digital leads behavior by Channel usage, share of wallet and spending patterns and present mid / senior management with key highlights on performance

This entails understanding and illustrating customer trends/opportunity at a granular level by product and channel performance and translating that insight for senior management to drive campaigns and align segment performance.

Coordinate with central Business Intelligence unit to design and test Business Reports / Analytics across UAE for the digital squads within the retail bank

Cull data campaign data for digital squads and work with central campaign management team for execution / tracking / optimization of the campaigns based on outcomes

Key Result Areas

Provide end-to-end data support for all the digital squads within the retail bank – Identification of the right source, extraction, summarization and presentation

Collaborate with central campaign management team to cull out campaign eligible customers & test the effectiveness of the campaigns

Collaborate with central modeling team to prioritize, design, develop & implement cross-sell, up sell and retention models to build deeper Customer Relationships.

Identification of customer Segments, opportunity of Value build-up, profitability & acquisition in cards and personal banking segments

Responsible for developing statistical models supporting marketing campaigns (Classical & ML based models)

Recommend and present segment level projects supported by analytics to business / product heads complete with target deliverables, projected revenue and costs.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

At least 6-8 years of experience as a data engineer (Extraction, Transformation & Loading) across multiple ETL tools

2 – 3 years of experience in Hadoop Big Data environment
2 – 3 years of advanced analytics experience (segmentation, decision tree, model development) is a must
Prior experience with digital unstructured data extraction and analysis is preferred
Proficiency in the Data tools stack required are – SQL, Informatica, Base SAS
Proficiency in Data analysis stack required are – Python, SAS & R
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering or any basic science faculty (Computers, Physic, Mathematics)
Prior experience with Retail Banking or Retail E-Comm is preferred
Prior experience with Agile Way of Working on Sprints is preferred
Prior experience in a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic team environment is preferred
