Head of Cargo Revenue and Capacity Management – Etihad Airways , UAE

We have a great leadership opportunity to be a driving force in our Cargo strategy road map, to join as Head of Cargo Revenue Management. You will be accountable for ensuring that Etihad Cargo’s fleet and network are strategically chosen to ensure smooth long term revenues whilst also gaining commercial cargo partnerships with external airlines to enhance synergies that will further maximize revenue generation. Identify, develop and drive the long term strategic plan to maximise network revenue and contribution covering cargo capacity management, pricing and route management, analytics and planning, partnerships and alliances, and Cargo network planning.

Accountabilities
Sets EY Pricing Governance in compliance with internal audit, finance & other key stakeholder requirements. Ensures compliance across the Revenue Management function. Ensuring adequate self-audit and providing for a continuous self-improvement mechanisms. Ensures that the Pricing group is fully aware of legal constraints and comply with ATI restrictions.
Owns the monthly revenue and yield performance against agreed revenue plans and forecasts and creates appropriate long-term action plans to ensure revenue and yield plans are delivered by the entire revenue management function
Accountable for the pricing and capacity management teams to develop and implement optimal pricing, capacity allocation and route revenue management in order to maximize network revenue and contribution. Maintain the interface between pricing and capacity control and other cargo stakeholders including commercial team to ensure their strategies are aligned and translated into pricing and planning operations.
Responsible for business forecasts, the annual budget planning of cargo revenue and rolling target settings and measurement against them. Lead process of improving the business intelligence environment of Etihad Cargo and responsible for data integrity and data availability across the Cargo organization. Create and maintain Cargo network modelling systems and processes to identify the most profitable Cargo network to support the overall Cargo financial performance.
Ensure revenue management system capacity and demand forecasting functions generate maximum commercially viable network capacity and contribution opportunity. Lead the business development of new and enhanced revenue management system functionality to deliver divisional strategy.
Ensure the best possible utilization of the Etihad Cargo fleet. Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders to create a cargo schedule that is optimized with commercial and operations to maximize financial performance. Monitor the financial and operational performance of the Etihad Cargo schedule and where necessary co-ordinate performance improvement initiatives with relevant stakeholders.
Identifying, driving, negotiating and delivering current and new business partnerships through interline, codeshare operations and joint Cargo operations. Management and implementation of negotiated airline partnerships, and liaising with regional team and GSAs system ensuring interline requirements are met. Develop SLAs with business partners to ensure high service level consistency.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Statistics or other numerate discipline
A minimum of 8 years working experience in a senior revenue management position with 5 years leading a team of Revenue Management / Pricing specialists. Operational Research experience would be an advantage
Cargo Revenue Management experience is essential
Experience leading successful revenue management/network planning teams to deliver revenue growth
Experience working within transformation initiatives/programmes with an interest in diriving innovation and digitalisation
