Junior Legal Counsel – SABIS® , UAE

Job Purpose:
To provide legal and administrative support to the Regional Office.

Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in providing legal support and assistance to SABIS® schools within the region.
Providing the management with practical, reasonable advice on challenging and/or complex legal matters arising within the day-to-day operations or related to ongoing projects.
Reviewing and advising on legal material including but not limited to MOU, LOI, NDA, Commercial Agreements, Employment Contracts, Licensing agreements, Lease Agreements, Service Agreements, Shareholders Agreements, and Software License Agreements.
Reviewing and drafting different types of documentations and ensuring that all documents are up-to-date and in compliance with the applicable laws.
Liaising with external and internal lawyers on all legal matters they are appointed to handle.
Coordinating with other departments within the company in regards to legal assistance requests.
Interpreting statutes, policies, and other legal documents, and communicating the content of those documents in a clear and cogent manner.
Monitoring the terms of all executed legal materials.
Researching legal issues and providing written recommendations and memorandum.
Remaining current on relevant laws and regulations.

Ideal Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Law
Legal experience in a business environment is a plus
Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken)
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and change priorities independently and simultaneously
Ability to prioritize a substantial and varied workload to effectively serve management requests
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Employment Requirements:
