Manager – TCM Finance – Mashreq , UAE

Job Purpose
Report to Head of TCM and Funding Center in business performance management, MIS & analytics, business expectation and driving the business by providing timely information for driving the strategic initiatives.
Review the MBO presentation of Head TCM and accompany the Head TCM for the MBO review meetings with CEO along with presentation for the meeting.
Conduct the ALCO meeting every month and Present the ALM Pack to ALCO members; Circulate the minutes of meeting; Ensuring ALCO decisions are implemented across the bank.
Manage the strategic and annual plan for business and accompany the Head TCM for the annual plan meeting with CEO along with the presentation.
Provide accounting and financial solutions to Head TCM to support the business growth and optimize the P&L.
Monitoring, Implementation and achievement of funding Centre Objectives and Strategic.
Presenting set of analytics on Funding Centre to ALCO by independently reviewing FC unit activities.
Work Closely with CFO and Head of Risk Management in implementation of Basel 3 Requirements including Stress Testing which are closely monitored by ALCO.
Lead team of analysts and finance managers to deliver key result areas and & ensure robust control environment in P&L and ALCO reporting and transfer pricing process.

Key Result Areas
Performance Management for the business by presenting the business performance to the LF and DRs every month and publishing unit wise P&L, tracking against budgets, highlighting opportunities and risks and following up on action points.
Review the financial pack every month with Head TCM by presenting information in right formats and providing relevant insights on the business.
Bringing new ideas and improvements in financial pack by introducing new analytics and metrics to enhance the Business Head to implement various strategies.
Ensuring financial control which includes valuation of instruments, adherence to accounting principles and reconciliation of published information to core systems and subsystems.
Approving and monitoring all expenses, highlighting opportunities for cost saves and adequately challenging the cost owners to ensure value for cost incurred.
Steering the strategic and annual budget discussion between LF and their Direct Reports of various business groups on cost, cross sell revenue, etc.
Managing the annual budgeting exercise encompassing strategy formulation, setting up the budgeting process from input collection and collation, reviewing and challenging assumptions and present the annual plan to each Unit Head in the business.
Provide accounting solutions to business and guidance to CAD on IFRS and hedge accounting.
Support to ongoing projects including system implementation, expansion opportunities and strategic initiatives in all financial aspects.
Managing external audit directly on hedge accounting, hedge effectiveness testing, etc.
Managing internal audit by adhering to rigid controls, accounting standards, ensuring robust documentation and support to the audit team by providing the relevant information and support.
Manage the Transfer Pricing process every month and align the system in line with FTP polices decided at the ALCO.
Review and present in the ALCO meeting all set of MIS and analytics including liquidity mismatch; interest rate sensitivity on the balance sheet; shock analysis of P&L and Asset liability management at the balance sheet level.
management strategy as per Basel 3 recommendations and model development for stress testing and scenario analysis.
Key member of project team for transforming financial reporting and management reporting systems

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Accounting professional preferably having an experience of 10-12 years experience in financial and management accounting in banking industry.
Should possess strong analytical skills capable of providing relevant insights from diverse and abstract information.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles specifically related to treasury products. Working knowledge of IFRS 9 guidelines preferable.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills capable of interacting with and managing expectations of senior most management in the bank.
Effective leadership and team management skills.
Project management skills to coordinate and deliver on critical projectssssssss
