OT SAP Asset Management Specialist – Contract Hire – Nawah Energy Company , UAE

Job Purpose:
To support the Plant in SAP Asset Management as it relates to integration with Plant Maintenance, Project Systems, Materials Management, Warehouse Management modules.

Key Activities and Responsibilities
Asset Management solution
Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials with focus on Asset Management.
Controlling – Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment and settlement to Cost Centers or WBS’s.
Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements from functions and stakeholders.
Map function business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary.
Design, customize, configure and testing of Asset Management Objects as it interfaces with other SAP modules.
Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions related to the Cost Model.
Act as liaison with Corporate for troubleshooting: investigation, analyzing, and solving
software problems related to Costing as it relates to interfaced SAP Modules.
Document functional designs, test cases and results.
Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support Projects within SAP.
Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members and New Joiners.
Business Partner Collaboration
Establish and maintain stakeholder relationship with Finance business partners in order to provide effective technical solutions to Plant Business Functions.
Coordinate with Corporate or Enterprise to align technology solutions with existing business strategies.
Seek opportunities to improve and deepen relationship between Nawah Operation Technology & Business Partners that leads to process innovation opportunity within the Business Functions.
Designs & Solution
Work closely with the interface development and IT Architecture department.
Design high quality business application solutions by identifying and evaluating options.
Prepare functional specifications.
Resolve solution issues.
Lead development and communicate business requirements for the design and implementation of business solutions.
Support one or more highly complex business processes, requiring design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business.
Serve as a technical lead and as a bridge between the business and the project team.
provides recommendations for business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.
Investigates problems and develops recommendations for resolution. Identifies need for technical assistance to help in problem resolution
Create and deliver related user documentation and end-user training.
Client Engagement
Lead the assessment of client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to prioritize immediate business needs and recommends options, risks, and cost vs. benefits.
Analyses client operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities for improvements.
Engage with clients and keep them up to date on problems, issues, and resolutions.
Monitor and analyzing performance metrics to ensure client satisfaction.
Planning
Conduct data gathering and analysis to understand business strategy requirements.
Lead and provide direction for short- and long-term planning sessions to ensure understanding of business goals and direction.
Provide input from a business and information technology perspective.
Business Case
Conduct feasibility studies and draft proposals for evaluation by appropriate users and managers.
Participate on developing business case over the business new requirement and changes.
Testing
Develop user test cases and system integration testing and validate test results during testing.
Review test plans and executes test cases to ensure systems and applications working as per the designed
Monitor testing process to ensure that business results are achieved adequately with minimal risk.
Ensure test strategies involve appropriate integration and process components.

Skills
Qualifications and Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Science, Business or related field,
5 years of experience equivalent to the position.
5 years of SAP Asset Management / FICO implementing, maintaining and supporting as well as integration to PM/MM/PS experience.
Technical Competency
Knowledge in business operations and systems requirements processes.
Strong Understanding of Project Management.
User experience analysis & evaluation in SAP FICO.
Knowledge in systems design, Integration, testing, release and deployment.
Strong Understanding of Applications Support.
