You will be working as a Sales Manager and will be the part of Motion Business area for Drives Division based in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will be reporting to the Local Business Area Manager and will be responsible for planning and ensuring execution of Division, Business Unit or Product Group sales strategy for assigned area, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for products, systems and/or services in a profitable way. You will also responsible for leading and developing and coaching the sales organization proactively, to exceed the sales targets through high performance in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Leading the sales organization including segment and product management teams.
Budgeting for new sales offering portfolio in line with market potential per segment for drives and motors.
Spearheading market intelligence activities to uniquely position ABB Motion to gain additional market share.
Interpreting the strategy of Motion Business Area as well as all divisions and translate the corporate expectations into activities for the sales team. Ensuring the execution of sales strategy and target achievements in local and export markets for Motion Business Area as well as all Divisions.
Developing annual sales plans for system drives, motors and generators and drives products in line with growth ambition and implement business-driven actions in accordance. Generating solid sales pipeline with high information quality and balanced nature to deliver budget commitment for all divisions in Motion Business Area.
Managing sales expansion plans across assigned accounts, segments and markets. Submitting monthly and quarterly forecast for orders with high accuracy.
Contributing to the entire gamut of marketing activities in UAE and allocated markets comprising of product launches, exhibitions, conferences and events in coordination with group communication and local teams.
Motivating the positive change across the sales organization coupled with motivational reward and recognition initiatives in line with group guidelines and framework. Leading the sales and product management teams and approve individual sales plans.
Working closely with Region Sales Managers and Area Sales Managers for all division.
Leading the sales force on the ground according to player map and market stakeholders including consultants, EPCs, OEMs and End-Users.
Identifying partnership opportunities and participates in the definition of partnership agreements. Coordinating with different functions, cross functions to grow the business. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in sales preferably at least 3 years in sales management for Drives and Motors business.
Strong knowledge about automation and industrial application.
Arabic language would be an advantage.
Candidate should have computer skills in Microsoft office (mainly word, excel & power point).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
