Senior HC Business Partner, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, UAE

The Senior HC Business Partner is the ‘trusted advisor’ to one of more Functions/multiple business units/service lines and will be responsible to lead the Human Capital Strategy across 1 or more Functions. This position will provide proactive advice, counsel, risk mitigation and services to multiple business units/service lines and serve as a consultant to management on all HC issues. In addition to being the administrative expert, the HCBP II will also act as an employee champion and change agent delivering on strategic HC projects. The HCBP II will assess and anticipate HC-related needs, communicating requirements proactively internally with a view to developing integrated solutions. The incumbent will formulate partnerships across the HC function to deliver value-added service to both, the business and Caregivers.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of ten (10) years progressive human resources experience is required; At least five years in a Senior HR/ manager role

Knowledge in employee relations, compensation, benefits, recruitment and performance management

Ability to interpret and administer labour laws

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to think critically and maintain a high level of confidentiality

Ability to influence, persuade, manage conflict and have crucial conversations

Ability to speak and write in English is required, Ability to speak and write in Arabic is preferred

Previous hospital experience within UAE is highly preferred

Demonstrated skill in using PC applications and familiarity with the Internet for research capabilities

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Trusted Advisor who provides a proactive link for HC to multiple business units/service lines collaborating with business leaders to ensure consistent applications of all HC Policies & procedures

Works collaboratively with the business to lead implementation of the people strategy for the assigned business units

Proactively partners with business functions on talent management including capacity and capability management

Supports performance of business units by reviewing and identifying potential areas for improvement for workforce related activities

Provides counsel or advice relating to work improvement/disciplinary action, interpersonal/work team issues or HC policy interpretation

Leads organizational change initiatives including specific HC projects involving the optimization of HC policies & procedures.

Leads on appropriate HR projects and taskforces as assigned

Ensures all terminations, resignations are compliant with internal (CCAD) and external requirements/legislations

Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as HC requirements that impact all of CCAD

Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implements changes to HR policies and practices

Evaluates HR metrics and makes recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness

Applies understanding of business areas to all HR sections to develop appropriate action plans and responses to data analysis

Full member at organization wide committees, representing HC Business Partners
Acts as line manager for HRBP I/Generalist positions to lead and develop the next generation of HC Business Partners
