The Senior Manager Crew Services is accountable for Leading the crewing strategy for the business and managing the crew services team. Ensure safe operation and regulatory compliance to the post holder and develop strategies to stay within defined targets for cost and service.
Establish strategic direction for the Crew Services team to meet operational goals defined by the company.
Develop and implement processes and procedures to manage the safe execution of the crew rosters while achieving the service and financial objectives of the company.
Establish the department’s goals and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
Align efforts with safety and compliance teams to ensure crew rosters are executed at the highest safety level.
Define communication lines and escalation processes with various senior internal and external stakeholders to ensure all issues related to the live roster affecting crew are escalated and handled accordingly.
Develop strategic plans for managing crew disruption scenarios.
Recommend, new tools and best in class technologies to support the crewing functions.
Education & Experience
Post-Secondary Education (i.e. diploma, degree and equivalent work experience in the field of Airline Operations).
Minimum 10 years of experience working at an airline crew resources or network operations department. Minimum 5 years in a role responsible for large teams.
