Job Description
Support training needs by performing/coordinating all activities associated with nuclear based computer training systems, software, and Learning Management and Records Management systems.

Management Systems Infrastructure
Assist in the identification of proposed Learning Management System (LMS) infrastructure enhancements to Information, Communications, and Technology (ICT) and LMS vendors to provide input for future LMS changes.
Support or operate as the point of contact as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the LMS and eLearning technical infrastructures and software applications to ensure accurate, consistent resolution to questions and issues.
Construct the link between eLearning modules and their associated exams to the LMS to allow use of the LMS exam bank.
Operate as Training Lead and work with ICT Support to resolve LMS and eLearning application problems and issues.
Assist in the review of new LMS updates to determine the impact on the system and oversee implementation plans including risk assessments and contingency planning.
Develop, implement and maintain necessary policies, procedures and processes to provide administrative guidance for learning systems.
Develop computer based systems and software budget requests so that sufficient funding is budgeted for and utilized.
Operate Vision database and nuclear processes as it relates to task training matrices for Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) reporting of nuclear training and positions, tasks, objectives related to specific nuclear training to meet regulatory requirements.

Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) Database Management
Oversee nuclear training staff with SAT based database projects and structures to align with World Association of Nuclear Operator (WANO) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) standards.
Manage user rights via security tools for SAT database to enforce cybersecurity protocol.

Computer System/Software Improvement
Participate in computer based system and software related self-assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
Analyze current business needs to identify, recommend and implement computer based systems and software solutions to ensure nuclear best practices.
Follow and attend technology conferences and user workshops to improve use of existing technology and identify new technology for evaluation.
Develop and implement project plans to support changes to computer based systems and software including risk evaluations and contingency planning.
Provide input to support development of a long range training technology strategy.
And other Responsibilities.

Skills
5-10 years Nuclear Experience administering an LMS in a plant, or with INPO
Bachelor of Science Degree
