Responsible for review and resolution of problems/discrepancies of all contract actions and claims to ensure conformity with Client’s policies and procedures and Kingdom tendering regulations.
Providers senior level advise to SMD management as well as Contract Administrators on contractual interpretations and policy.
Prepare or provides legal advice to those preparing defense of claims, disputes and bid protests.
Prepares responses to the General Bureau of supervision as well as assistance in drafting contractual responses to Ministry of Finance procurement questions.
Reviews all proposed pre–award contract actions to ensure conformity with Client’s policies.
Provides expert advice to management on contractual interpretations.
Provides analysis and critiques of proposed changes to Client’s Contracting policies.
As directed, prepares, or participates in preparation of Client’s Reponses to Contractor claims disputes and bid protests.
Provides assistance to the director, SMD in review of submittals for contract termination and requirement.
Provides policy interpretation to all Contract Administrators.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications:
Candidate should have fifteen (15) years of experience in the procurement field with extensive experience in the
Review of contract actions for conformance with policy, laws and regulations. Must have (10) years’ experience in working with Saudi Arabian Government Procurement Law as well as preparing responses to GBS and the ministry of Finance.
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in English and Arabic.
Must Possess a law Degree from a recognized university.
