Reporting to the Student Life and Services Section Head, the candidate must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Student Life and Services Department in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will develop and implement strategy for building and strengthening relationships with CNA-Q’s alumni stakeholders in order to maximise engagement with the College and support and enhance CNA-Q’s brand and positioning in the market.
Candidates should have good experience in Alumni Relations or related field, and possess the qualifications necessary to be successful in the role Alumni Affairs Senior Specialist. The successful candidate is responsible to collaborate with Senior Management to identify opportunities for CNA-Q to promote its relationship with the alumni base and support the development of a comprehensive plan. Responsibilities also include to collaborate with the Alumni Association to develop funding proposals and ensure its members are recruited, regular meetings are held, and to organize events that provide Alumni’s with opportunities for networking and growth.
The Alumni Affairs Senior Specialist will manage and coordinate the alumni communications and promotion of Alumni Associations and maintain the collection of alumni records through conducting surveys at Alumni events and liaising with Departments and Schools.
Candidates will be responsible for the coordination and management of the annual graduation ceremonies and will establish and build relationships with successful external businesses interested in supporting the colleges Alumni Association.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
Minimum 5 years of alumni affairs experience.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic language is required.
Other Required Skills:
Enthusiastic and ambitious team player with good public speaking skills and a confident manner. Previous experience in alumni relation, fundraising or public relations role is desirable. Experience in managing events and meeting deadlines is desirable. Proven ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of people. A reliable and proactive can-do attitude to work. The ability to think analytically and solve problems is required. A good attention to detail is required. Commitment to positive relationship building and effective working relationships across all levels of the organisations is required. Knowledge Student Success / Career Planning and Student life cycle is required. A Commitment to ongoing training and continuous professional development is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate explanatory communication and interpersonal skills.
