Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Principal Consultant at our Houston, TX office location (and various client sites nationwide) to drive business process consulting by translating customer business processes into IT solutions, including quality assurance.
Expectations and Tasks:
Help position disruptive business innovation. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Support end-to-end solution design across all relevant solutions including OnPremise, Cloud and Hybrid, apply state-of-the-art methodologies. Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes. Drive deployment of SAP Model Companies for specific area of business. Demonstrate profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools. Support of pre-sales activities. Performance of feasibility studies and solution reviews. Support in escalated projects. Responsible from time to time as a (sub-)project lead; team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and trainings. 90% travel required to various client sites nationwide.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field of study and 7 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master’s degree and 5 years of experience.
Work Experience:
Experience must involve 5 years in the following: Architect and Implement digital transformation initiatives on Next generation technologies including S4HANA Finance, predictive Analytics and reporting; Supporting Infrastructure footprint reduction by leveraging cutting edge technologies such as Delphix; Architecting large mergers, separations, divestures and acquisitions; Supporting SAP Engineering, roadmap, Strategy and deep support for entire SAP landscape including HANA, S4HANA, ECC, BW, GRC, GTS, APO, MAXDB, Live Cache; Tax solutions : Tax ware and Vertex; Implementations involving Cross Modular Integration: FI-SD and FI-MM and Interfaces; Implementing and Architecting Enterprise management solutions: ECC, SAP FI CO, VMS (vehicle management systems); and Performance optimization and Service guard. 90% travel required to various client sites nationwide.
