The job holder is responsible for supervising the daily operation of Segments/ Products/ Services in terms of promotional campaigns, consumer acceptance testing, and alignment with other internal stakeholders. The job holder is also responsible for handling partnership management activities and implementing loyalty and retention initiatives and plans.
Bachelor’s Degree\Master’s Degree is Preferable in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in a similar role
Marketing Development Planning and Management Provide subject matter expert in the Marketing Development area
Assist in the development and manage the implementation of targeted Segments/ Products/ Services roadmap
Provide needed information and data in order to develop actionable annual marketing plans and tactical promotional campaigns and packages/offers
Segment Management Handle all correspondences with Technology and other related internal stakeholders to facilitate the development of targeted packages and offers
Participate in new services commercial launch for awareness purposes
Coordinate on a regular basis with Marketing Communications to follow-up the development and implementation of promotional activities for existing segment-related services
Handle consumer acceptance testing to ensure consumer readiness and acceptance for product/service
Provide needed input and information for the design and update of new and existing product propositions in order to deliver the best possible quality
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with Sales and Distribution and Customer Care as and when required
Develop periodical reports on the performance of Segment products and promotion efforts, services lifecycle, revenues and profitability and participate in the development enhancement plans for improvement purposes
CVM Supervise data extraction and analyze results to identify target customers and segments
Implement predictive and propensity models pertaining to key customers aspects such as churn, acquisition, etc.
Develop reports on the stimulation of existing enterprise customer base and revenue
Participate in the development of concept papers and technical feasibility studies and other campaign-related documentation for decision making purposes
Follow-up the effective communication of CVM campaigns to targeted customers
Provide needed data for the development of return on investment and profitability reports for decision making purposes
Pricing Support Handle pricing-related correspondences with Finance
Propose tariff changes or promotions as per set guidelines and secure approval from related stakeholders
Develop and review benchmark studies, economic modeling, market-based studies and analysis in order to extract pricing scenarios
Develop reports on portfolio pricing coherence for decision making purposes in order to avoid cross-product cannibalization
Participate in the development of reports pertaining to price sensitivity on different customer segments to assess purchasing power on a regular basis
Remain abreast and report on new regulations in order to assess the cost impact on pricing
Loyalty and Retention Assist in the development of analytic models for predictive and descriptive churn initiatives
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions, implement churn and win-back initiatives and participate in the development and continuous update of the retention matrix
Provide need data and information to facilitate the development of promotion concepts in order to retain loyal customers
Propose need improvements according to customer needs and update rewards structure and program on a regular basis
Report on programs/ promotions’ performance on a regular basis and propose needed adjustments accordingly in order to attract and retain customers
Keep abreast the latest trends in terms of loyalty and retention programs and recommend enhancements on existing offers accordingly
Innovation and Partnerships Develop commercial data profiles for customer behaviors and trends in order to understand customer needs
Manage and develop relationships with Ad agencies and aggregators in order to promote Zain products
Coordinate with Technology and BI for the continuous improvement of data profiles
Develop and participate in the launch of new products in order to increase the portfolio of products
Coordinate with Technology for the implementation and deployment of new products
Report on a regular basis on product performance and propose enhancement initiatives
Manage existing partners ensuring business continuity
Coordinate internally and with clients for the development of new products based on client needs and internal capabilities
