Reporting to the Senor Manager IT sourcing, this role will work with suppliers and internal specifiers in order to create and agree contracts and commercial terms that both work for the business and encourage timely delivery within budget and quality constraints. There is a requirement to work closely with legal in securing sign off. Strong stakeholder management skills required including excellent soft skills to be persuasive, influencing, collaborative whilst (at all times) protecting the best interests of Alshaya. Needs to be passionate about driving down costs, continually and persistently reviewing the award and ongoing spend and looking for ways to optimize.
Qualification/Requirements for the role:
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the role or similar role
Legal Background is desirable
Exposure in Retail, IT, Project Management, Procurement Management
BS/BA in Business Administration, Management, Contracts, or related field
Should have a good understanding of Procurement, Contracts, Regulations, and Procedures and Governance
The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:
Responsible for developing and embedding a sourcing management methodology
Creating, managing and maintaining the relationships with IT vendors,
Supporting escalation processes and disputes
Identifying opportunities for partnership, expanding and calibrating our partner base
Driving RFI/RFP/Tender processes and supporting the overall IT demand process, supporting IT project execution as well as development.
IT Contract review development, including legal and commercial inputs on a line by line basis
Negotiation, mediation and relationship development with the Business and Vendors
Documenting and securing appropriate information and content to support the development of Vendor information appropriate for digital transfer in the future.
Applying standards and policies as directed by line management, ensuring compliance with department and organization governance
Ensuring that requirement is sufficiently detailed to allow accurate implementation and/or delivery to later developed plans.
Providing management status reports to senior stakeholders as necessary and directed
Planning workload and activity in line with the Contract Life Cycle, including but not limited to draft, modification, execution, amendments, Change and renewal.
Supporting escalation and providing timely inputs to disputes
