About Your Job:
Promote and implement Qatar Airways Aeropolitical advocacy strategy through the overall management of all processes of issuing publications and documents designed for targeted audiences regarding country-specific aviation-related and aeropolitical subjects in addition to coordination with regional PR managers to promote same to local media.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Coordinate with subject matter experts to create or submit material for the Aeropolitical and Corporate Affairs publications and documents, or interview subject matter experts in order to produce the required material.
Responsible for drafting, writing, editing, designing, coordinating related publications. This includes, but is not limited to: monthly Corporate Affairs Updates for Qatar Airways on a variety of topics related to Aeropolitical and Corporate affairs such as the EU Comprehensive Air Services Agreement, the US Open Skies issue; engagement documents, special publications (“books”) and others.
Manage review process, appropriate reviews and sign-off by key stakeholders to ensure quality control
Liaise with SVP Aeropolitical and Corporate Affairs under the Qatar Airways Group brand guidelines for design and publication of the documents
Design layout and coordinate review and approval with Marketing to ensure compliance with corporate standards and branding.
Coordinate publication or publishing with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high standard of material and compliance to defined deadlines.
Liaise with regional PR managers to: confer on important Aeropolitical issues; produce fact sheets, talking points or other support material to help promote or respond to the story to their regional media; establish PR goals and deadlines so that all relevant information is captured and accurate.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS::
Essential
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Communications, PR, Graphic Design, Art or equivalent
Specialist – minimum 5 years of job-related experience required. Preferred in Government affairs, corporate affairs and/or aviation experience.
Fluency in English is a MUST.
