The Corporate Logistics Team plan, move and control the flow of goods from point of origin to point of consumption across all divisions, markets and brands within Alshaya. Working closely with brand teams to ensure appropriate stock and delivery to store, the team manages a range of complex and diverse activities including shipping, freight, warehouse operations, customs clearance (in-bound and out-bound), compliance and project management.
Advice & assist with planning, analysis, modelling & reporting of assigned Logistics Projects. Monitor ongoing performance & enable/give direction to corrective action/ optimize ongoing business performance.
The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:
Model & provide previous, and current information to assist & support logistics analysis and the delivery of logistics projects
Process mapping of operational processes
Process mapping of supply chain flows
Create SOPs when required
Understanding of the operating Alshaya systems and WMS
Research in logistics best practice and new innovations
Review and analysis respective data to support understanding and decision making within projects
Data collection from various sources
Actively challenge data when required
Analysis of data to illustrate results and trends.
Interpret data and make conclusions for recommendations
Ensure timely & accurate production of standard & customized logistics reports for the business.
Produce ad hoc reports that support the project team
Produce ABCD reports for projects.
Support the senior project manager in project documentation.
Undertake and manage logistics projects
Deliver small projects with supervision
Use project methodology and reporting structures.
Use project templates and project documents.
Degree with recognized qualification
Working knowledge of logistics operation
