Perform or coordinate highly complex and diverse engineering activities and related analyses associated with bidding opportunities. Visit multiple job-sites to understand the operation of specialized equipment and to devise effective solutions. Understand customer schedules and coordinate with project management. Provide technical specifications to design engineering.
Represent the Company in conferences with customers, architects, business development and/or technical sales. Provide technical and business advice involving major projects and/or highly complex opportunities.
Maintain communications with other business development members, technical architects, and engineering groups to assume project ownership at the appropriate hand off. Seek other opportunities to promote customer satisfaction and foster harmonious business relations.
Develop customer contacts, and, in conjunction with other support groups, establish strategies for obtaining new business and meeting financial objectives. Prepare proposals and make recommendations on such matters as specifications, equipment, procedures and technical documents. Provide advance information on potential business opportunities and problems and support related business development efforts.
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering and minimum 5 years of professional work experience.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
