Educational Qualifications
Education & Experience: Bachelor Degree, preferably in Human Resource or related field with 10 years of post-qualification experience of which 03 years in a Managerial position in Human Resource department. Master degree in the related field / CIPD will be an advantage Special Skills & Knowledge Proficiency in English (Reading & Writing) Proficient in MS office Awareness of Omani Labor Law and Omanization policies Sound communication skills (Written and Oral) Strong decision making skills Ability to demonstrate contribution to the performance of Organization through effective implementation of cost control measures. Job Description
Primary Responsibility
Strategic
Developing human resource policies, plans and programs in consultation with Executive Vice President – Human Resource and with other key stakeholders with regards to talent acquisition function to ensure provision of effective business support for the achievement of Oman Air’s manpower business plans and strategies
Develop and ensure that the annual manpower budgets & plan and perform periodic cost and productivity analysis to ensure optimal productivity and return on investment.
Development of human resources as a strategic partner in organizational change and in the development of Oman Air as an employer of choice.

Operations
Review proposals from Business Unit Heads for staffing requirements and make recommendations to the Management to either approve or not the requirement after undertaking careful analysis of the productivity requirements of the organisation
Conduct annual turnover study and prepare qualitative and quantitative analysis reports along with the talent acquisition team to address the relevant Managers concerns
Serves as a liaison to and interacts with key stakeholders both inside and outside the company, including governmental and civil aviation agencies and other key organizations and groups.
Review and recommend changes to Executive Vice President – Human Resources about changes to organizational structure in consultation with respective stakeholders to ensure compliance with company’s overall strategic objectives.
Manage the recruitment of key Senior / Top Management personnel to the company to ensure high quality talent is recruited and is in line with the company’s compensation and benefits program and talent acquisition program
Provide direction to all talent acquisition staff and oversee the recruitment process at regular intervals to ensure compliance to standard operating procedures and timely provision of required talent
Monitor the talent exit program to ensure effective exit process and periodically review the attrition levels to ensure that attrition rate is maintained in par or below the industry standards
Develop succession plans for all critical positions in all levels across the company to ensure that all key positions have well qualified successors
Oversee Omanization levels to ensure that existing and future staffing needs of the organization are met as per approved Omanization levels in order to build and maintain Omani Human Capital in the Organization as per Omani Labor Law requirements
Oversee and assist Omanization team in identifying new positions for Omani nationals and recruit Omani talent to fulfill Omanization objectives
Oversee Omanization levels in maintaining the expat omanization manpower ratio and take necessary actions if disparities are found

People Management
Select, train and develop direct reportees and other subordinates to ensure continuous improvement of human resource function
Conduct periodic performance appraisal in line with the company’s performance management program.
Develop Success Planning across the Company.

Additional Responsibility
Participate in job fairs and act as the company’s representative in key regional and national seminars organized by professional firms across the globe
Actively participate in all internal decision making forums and committees to ensure effective representation of the human resource function
