Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) – An Award-winning catering company, provides exclusive catering services to Qatar Airways and other airlines that service Hamad International Airport.

About The Role::
Ensure optimum production efficiency of all production activities at Qatar Aircraft Catering Company facilities by directing all reporting departmental heads and establishing, formulating, defining and developing strategies to achieve operational growth as per the organisational objectives to the required food quality and hygiene standards.Responsible to direct, control and manage all production activities within Qatar Aircraft Catering Company including: Inflight Kitchen, bakery, cold Kitchen inclusive of all dishing, assembly, staff kitchen and cafeterias, Menu development with full accountability of Profit and Loss responsibility for the above. Overall responsible for food quality, hygiene, food safety and HSE in the above departments in coordination with the QA and HSE management team.

Accountabilities:
Strategy Formulation
Ensure that the short term, mid- term and long term plans for the production areas are produced by obtaining and utilising company growth forecast to ensure business continuity
Develop the hot kitchen in terms of equipment and manning skills to provide world class quality food
Develop cafeterias to ensure that airports requirements are met for today and future needs
Build an award winning culinary team in order to deliver world class standards for premium customers

Operational
Oversee, manage and monitor all the production operations and ensure full respect of all HACCAP rules to ensure food safety, hygiene and HSE is adhered to
Prioritise and allocate available resources among the different production areas to ensure on time performance and requirements are met
Customer Relations

Develop proper client relations enabling them to better understand the technical constraints in menu development
Qatar Aircraft Catering Company representative in all Qatar Airways / Qatar Aircraft Catering Company menu development activities with decision making authority
Budget and Reporting
Prepare and submit initial budget for the department based on commercial assumptions received from Qatar Airways and from other customers / business development managers
Accountable for the on going reduction of catering waste

Management & Leadership
Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives
Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed

Development
Take responsibility for own ongoing personal development and growth of expertise
Train and develop other employees for proper succession planning and risk management

Operational Safety
Responsible to ensure that employees at all levels understand work health and safety requirements and expectations through provision of relevant Qatar Airways Group induction, information, instruction, training and supervision
Ensure that all managers and supervisors understand work health and safety requirements and expectations to the extent that they can pass on relevant information, identify training needs and provide appropriate supervision in their workplace

Qualifications:
Essential Bachelors Degree or equivalent
Preferred Masters Degree or equivalent
Previous experience as Executive Manager – minimum 10 years o job- reated experience required
