The Research Analyst Intern will play an important role and assist in implementing appropriate research methodologies and analytical tools to derive differentiated insights regarding Markets, Consumers, Competitors, and Customers’ Needs and Behavior.
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate interested in a customer centric role with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Liaise closely with the Research Manager to understand business objectives, design and conduct surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences and assist with Adhoc Qualitative and Quantitative projects
Assist with collecting and analyzing data on consumers, competitors and market place; consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations – insuring data output matches data needs
Handle monthly and quarterly CSI tracker projects on Alghanim’s in-house MR Portal by carrying out quality control and proof reading individual surveys completed by call agents
Conduct desktop research on markets and opportunities targeted by the business units to ensure we have accurate, relevant and up-to-date information
Perform other research related duties as requested by the Research Manager
Position requires a background in Marketing or any Business Administration or Statistician with an interest in business related topics
Multi-lingual with good written and oral communication, with an ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner. Arabic language capabilities is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills, and proactive to take on challenging tasks
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint is a must. Knowledge on SPSS is a plus
