About Your Job:
Qatar Airways Flight Operations and Integrated Operations Centre are continuously transforming how we manage our rapidly growing operation. Our continued success relies on providing our employees with the tools and systems they need to deliver our world class operation while striving towards even greater levels of integration, automation and efficiency.
This role is responsible for building and delivering an integrated systems strategy for both the IOC and Flight Operations. You will work closely with IOC partners, Crew Resources, Fleet Management, Project teams and IT in order to develop, communicate, and deliver a shared systems vision that will meet our long term needs and allow us to achieve our wider strategic objectives.
In addition your team will be responsible for providing business support for specialist operational systems for functions such as crew tracking, aircraft scheduling, flight tracking, pilot training records and specialist flight ops related systems. They will need to troubleshoot user issues, ensure that defects are addressed by developers and vendors within agreed SLA’s, maintain reference data, and ultimately ensure that the systems remain healthy, fit-for-purpose and complaint with aviation regulations.
You and your team will also be responsible for developing, maintaining and delivering systems training, education and knowledge among our users so that our software can be used to maximum effectiveness.
You will need to monitor and drive forward key developments and improvements within your own area to ensure best practice in supporting our critical operations systems and meeting our customer’s needs.

About You::
A minimum of 10 years of job related experience is required. You must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant qualification. It is essential that you have hands on experience of implementing and maintaining critical and specialist Flight Operations software including AIMS. As such you will have a background in airline operations including crew planning or scheduling. You must be able to interact with business leaders and analysts in such a way that you can bridge the gap between the technical aspects of the systems and the real life business context of your customers.
You must have demonstrated leadership experience and have highly developed planning, analytical and problem solving skills. The job demands an understanding of commercial impacts and financial/budgetary work that can or will affect the business. Excellent English communication skills are mandatory as are well developed interpersonal skills.
