Your tasks and responsibilities
You will be responsible of cost controlling and operating capital management
You will be responsible of overseeing monthly and quarterly closing process (Accruals, Provisions, Accounts Payables…)
You will monitor quarterly legal profitability of Reporting business areas.
You will be responsible for the protection of company assets, within subject area, through application of complex control procedures and for financial planning and reporting within stated company & finance guidelines and policies.
You will be responsible of commenting on the monthly/quarterly performance
You will be responsible of forecast calculation and adjustment reporting (monthly closing process include).
You will be responsible of financial due diligence on the deals
You will be responsible of Business Area Controlling for assigned countries within the zone
You will liaise with business partners & external auditors during External audit period.
You will prepare other financial and accounting reports. Some of them include but not limited to Cost & Profitability Analysis Report / Fixed Asset Reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Your qualifications and experience
Advanced degree in Accounting and/or Bachelor in Finance and accounting – CPA or CMA preferred Industry-specific financial experience
Proven working experience as a Commercial Analyst / Controller > 2 years minimum in Finance Planning and analysis
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Self-starter, motivated and result oriented
Reliable and able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively
Strong SAP knowledge
Being proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Especially Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Good command of English and Presentation skills
Your attributes and skills
Ability to analyse numbers and strong business acumen.
Methodical and systematic.
Ability to communicate across various level.
Thorough understanding of the cultures, customs, traditions and customer expectations in every Gulf country.
