PROJECT CONTROLS ANALYST

Airswift is seeking for Project Control Analyst – to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.

Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or other Business-related field.
Chartered Accountant, CIMA, ACCA preferable
8 years of accounting and Financial Controls experience with prior experience working in Oil & Gas upstream industry, upstream capital project planning, costing, scheduling, budgeting, and monitoring.
Experience in drilling and completions daily cost tracking, monthly cost control and reporting, and longer-term forecasting.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyse and assist with project controls activities for Development Planning Department team to ensure effective and consistent budget and cost controls.
Support CAPEX Stewardship activities for project controls reporting and work Requirement.
Assist to analyse AFE reconciliation and work with Engineering to provide detailed explanations and overrun approvals.
Communicate the required actions with Finance when D&C activities complete to enable AFE close-out and depreciation where relevant.
Able to utilize cost information into Cost models/ cost analysis/ benchmarking throughout interface and coordinate effectively with required Client stakeholders.
Provide effective assistance to Finance with necessary and accurate data for developing financial accruals.
Assist with reviewing the monthly Drilling overhead costs and ensure timely assistance is provided to the Drilling & Completion engineers in testing charges to confirm that charges and rates are appropriate for key contractors.
