Emergency Response Planning (ERP) Manager, Air Arabia, Sharjah

Develop and maintain Air Arabia Group Emergency Response Plan (ERP) while establishing connections between the ERP plans of all hubs.
Carry out the daily activities related to the Psychoactive Management Program (PSMP) within Air Arabia PJSC.
Oversee and facilitate the organization’s interdepartmental ERP & PSMP related communication, regulations, policies, manuals, and documentation flow to fulfill operational requirements.
Conduct training sessions and presentations as needed, ensuring comprehensive implementation, communication, assessment, and adherence to ERP and PSMP measures at all times.

Key Result Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for all aspects of ERP, FAP, and PSMP.
Develop, implement, and manage all facets of the Air Arabia Group ERP, FAP, and PSMP, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company objectives.
Ensure to link the ERP & FAP plans of all HUBS at Group level.
Establish, maintain, and continuously update Group and HUBS ERP, FAP, and PSMP manuals, training materials, and other necessary modifications.
Prepare and execute Annual ERP & FAP Drill/Exercise Plans for all hubs, ensuring timely actions for identified gaps.
Establish and coordinate Stations’ ERP and maintain up to date all necessary information and contacts.
Conduct ERP training for station managers, family assistance team members, OCC staff, and other relevant personnel.
Design and conduct emergency response exercises to train employees, Station managers and other stakeholders on disaster contingencies.
Procure necessary equipment and tools for training and emergency response, ensuring proper communication and coordination.
Facilitate ERP training for Crisis Management Team (CMT) members.
Act as liaison with external organizations such as third-party service providers and industry groups on all aspects of ERP and PSMP.
Ensure that all necessary service providers contracts are in place and valid including but not limited to emergency response, disabled aircraft recovery, PSMP,
Ensure all required resources are available and functional in crisis management centers.
Participate to airport ERP drills to assess and align emergency response preparedness.
Conduct routine station inspections to evaluate ERP preparedness.
Coordinate and facilitate the company’s emergency response in the event of accidents, natural disasters, or significant events.
Manage cross-departmental teams and act as a liaison between departments to ensure emergency response preparedness and compliance.
Develop, implement, and manage all facets of the Air Arabia PSMP, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company objectives.
Establish, maintain, and continuously update the PSMP manual, training materials etc.
Prepare the test plan for the HUBS.
Facilitate internal & external audits for ERP, PSMP, FAP etc. and ensure timely actions for audit findings/ observations.
Facilitate Drug & Alcohol tests for safety-sensitive staff as per PSMP requirements.
Coordinate between Medical Centers and GCAA on all aspects of PSMP.
Ensure all records are maintained and back-up is available.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and establishing networks.
Perform any additional duties as directed by the line manager.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

Bachelor’s degree in management/aviation or equivalent.
Diploma or certificate in the related field from a recognized university or institute

Work Experience

7+ years of Airline with Safety & Emergency Response experience
Experience in leading the ERP program.
Emergency Response Program training from an accredited institution.
Safety Management System Training.
Fluency in English language, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce reports.
Proficiency in designing and delivering effective training sessions,
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Understanding of ERP, FAP & PSMP regulations.
Familiarity with Inspection & Audit practices.
Professional membership in associations related to the Aviation/Airlines industry is advantageous.
Possession of Compliance, Audit, and Quality Assurance certificates and training is highly desirable.
Technical, legal, regulatory, and procedural knowledge.
