Global Process Excellence Manager – Express – Aramex – Dubai – UAE

The role
heads our process excellence department which is primarily responsible for driving the DNA of optimization or Kaizens thereby creating a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of Lean Six Sigma methodology across the organizations to drive our global optimization goals. This role can be broken down into 3 segments
Process Improvement bringing scalability or improving the bottom line,
Training the organization, Auditing entities, and standardizing processes across the stations,
Problem-Solving and providing solutions for both internal and external customers

Develop a lean maturity benchmark for Express operations and facilities globally. Establish the culture of Jidoka and Kaizens. Create productivity management tools for key milestones across the shipment lifecycle. Own and standardize processes, visual management, and auditing of these functions.
Manage a team of process improvement specialists and their direct reports to own and drive the process excellence charter globally. Mentor Lean six sigma Green Belt and Black Belt training, projects, and certifications process for employees.
Develop a problem-solving culture where problems are visible and fixed at the root cause. Works with cross-functional internal stakeholders on key and complex problem statements to deliver solutions thereby creating value across various elements of the supply chain. The position must be able to influence stakeholders at all levels and use existing operational data to identify opportunities to improve processes whilst influencing behavior change across all express assets and processes
Create and establish cost metrics in operations, drive CPS (cost per shipment) awareness and improvement across all assets by creating optimized and standardized flows through the entire value stream
Engages in relentless pursuit of continuous improvement to create best-in-class supply chain assets. Provide ongoing support to multiple project teams. Communicates Process Excellence information/news to management, staff, and employees. Support Stations for internal and external certifications with Central Quality involvement as per yearly strategy.
Program management for successful ISO implementation and governance – ISO 9001, ISO 140001 and ISO 45001.

Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Engineering or similar, Master’s degree preferred.
7+ years with a successful track record in driving Process Improvement.
5+ years of people management experience as a Senior Manager and above level.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ASQ or ISSAC), Lean Six-Sigma, transformation or re-engineering background is a must
Experience in e-commerce, logistics, and supply chain solutions design is a must.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
