have an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our International Human Resources team as Regional HR Business Partner for our African Region.
As Regional HR Business Partner, your role will be based in our African Regional Office, which is based in Doha and you will lead the HR strategy across our African Region of 21 countries and act as a trusted partner to our senior leadership.
Reporting to our International HR Business Manager – Western Regions, you will lead on matters regarding HR strategy and operations for a growing client population in the region, covering the African region.

Accountabilities:
Function as strategic HR Business Partner to the Regional Leadership team (Commercial, Ground Services, Cargo and Technical) and work with internal stakeholders to develop HR strategies and policies that support business growth and reinforce a culture of performance.
Develop a Regional HR strategic plan in line with the Group HR strategic plan including performance management, engagement and communication.
Managing a team, providing expert guidance, supervision and support; direct daily activities, recruit, train, and develop to ensure the highest standard of service delivery.
Providing guidance and support on key people issues; partner with senior management and provide coaching to regional and country management teams.
Lead the implementation of HR policies and processes across Africa Region.
Identify and sponsor key projects that support the delivery of the Global HR strategic plan.
Develop effective working relationships with the client group positioning Human Resources as an integral part of the business and the HR business partner function as a trusted advisor.
Lead and provide strategic guidance in relation to organizational design and development, learning and development, performance and reward, and employee engagement.
You will contribute to the business strategy by helping identify, prioritise and build company capabilities, behaviours, structures and processes and support line management in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with the department and business strategy.
Accountability for legal compliance with legislation ensuring we are complying with local legal requirements throughout the region.
There will be travel required as part of this role across the Region as required.

Qualifications
The successful person will have the following:
Solid relevant work experience within a HR generalist role with experience as a Business Partner/ Senior HR Manager in an expanding, fast paced, multinational business.
You will be educated to degree level preferably with a recognized accreditation in HR.
Previous experience in handling multi-site/ multi-country operations and remote/ distance management will be a significant advantage.
You must have strong influencing skills, strong leadership ability and an innovative mind set.
You will have significant experience with employment legislation across the African Region
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is an essential requirement in this role. Ability to speak additional languages in line with regional markets is preferred but not essential.
