Marketing & E-Commerce Manager – Qatar Airways – Doha, Qatar

About the role
Qatar Airways Holidays (QRH) are the leisure travel brand of Qatar Airways, the Worlds’ Best Airline. Utilizing the extensive network of Qatar Airways, QRH works with global hotel brands, destination management companies and bed-banks to create bespoke holiday and tour packages for multiple global markets.
QRH also work closely with internal departments including QR Sponsorships and Discover Qatar, to promote and sell packages for global sponsored events and for holidays in ‘Destination Doha’.
As a Marketing and e-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for creating and delivering marketing strategy and providing leadership for all marketing activities of Qatar Airways Holidays. You will oversee the marketing team activities and take responsibility to ensure the team deliver on all plans and revenue targets in their assigned area. Other key responsibilities are:
Develop joined-up Brand, Marketing Communications and E-Commerce strategy for the promotion of QRH products, including annual media plans, website enhancement and social media application.
Develop marketing plans to promote and sell event-led packages created by the Qatar Airways Sponsorship teams for global profile sporting events including Formula 1, FIFA tournaments, PSG football matches.
Review the market trends and work with the Product team to identify and exploit opportunities.
Develop commercial marketing campaigns ensuring consistency of messaging and imagery on all key communication channels.
Work with colleagues within the Airline and Qatar Tourism to promote QRH products to the global network.
Propose annual marketing budgets and costed promotional calendar to Executive management ensuring optimal budget performance and contribution to the success of Qatar Airways Group.
Ensure commercial marketing campaigns are launched timely and on budget. Employ the full range of marketing mix including through the line campaigns, events, digital marketing, sponsoring and advertising, advancing QRH image and market profile.
Take responsibility for the effectiveness of all promotional collaterals and advertising materials ensuring maximum exposure.
Oversee the website and the related revenue generation opportunities from its effective marketing.
Grow e-mail marketing subscribers and social media presence.
Analyze web traffic statistics and ROI of all e-marketing campaigns; compile regular and adhoc reports to senior management on site behavior and campaign impact.
Devise and propose sales strategies for the continued growth of QRH website including regular benchmarking against key competitors.
Work with systems team to constantly enhance customer journey.
Provide support and leadership to your team in their personal development.

Qualifications
About You
We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Marketing team.
Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential.
6+ years of job-related experience
Prior experience as Marketing Manager leading multiple complex marketing projects.
Travel industry experience or prior airline experience a definite advantage.
Willingness to travel to assess potential destination opportunities.
Expert Project Management skills.
Intermediate to advanced level of numerical skills to analyze performance and calculate ROIs is required.
Understanding of broad marketing concepts
Demonstrated ability in using different marketing techniques.
Demonstrates best practices for digital marketing.
Has a good understanding of Google Analytics.
